How did you know it would be in your area and when?

More to the point, how can I find out when it might be in my area? I don't want to have to traipse to LIDLs every day in case it appears.

That looks a very good price - ebay and amazon is closer to £30! Does anyone know the diameter of the suction pipe? My Dipstick tube is only 5mm so my hand vacum pump takes ages

I have one...didn't like getting diesel on the outside...switch and rubber bits became all squidgy...had to rewire bits of it and it will not tolerate water...(but great for flushing out sump when you have let rainwater pour into the oil filler...don't ask)

More to the point, how can I find out when it might be in my area? I don't want to have to traipse to LIDLs every day in case it appears.

Just have an occasional look at the Lidl website, www.lidl.co.uk and see what's going to be in the Middle of Lidl.

Outside diameter of the suction pipe on mine is 6.25mm.

I have one engine that needs a thin suction pipe I just found a bit of brass tube and slipped that in. Had the Lidl pump for years now. No squishy bits on mine?

I have one ,bought previously given small to store as a back up as don’t lug a Pela around but also thought it would clear bilges eg when removing log etc.

Not to advertise for them but they have a cordless soldering iron in at the moment, works well.

I got one 8 years ago, still working but fixed in a fuel polishing kit. Need another for doing oil sumps now. In our local store next week.

If it's the same as mine it specifically says not for use with water. I haven't tried it to see what would happen.

I've had mine for about six years, great little bit of kit. I did try it on a 400hp Cummins and it took about 45mins to drain the 20l of oil...
