Had a nice day there yesterday 1030 -1830 and really enjoyed the occassion and so nice to catch up with folk. Went to Fairline a couple of times but no forum peeps upstairs
Solitare spotted me at Yamaha on my arrival and it was nice to see him un-scared and without any plaster casts for a change
It was busy enough I thought without any crowding at all - every stand and every boat was dead easy to see what you wanted - talk to stand peeps whatever.
There are gaps but the place is filled up with cars and some antiques etc , I like the layout although in the non boaty hall it was a tad difficult to do the up one aisle and back down the next as the organisers had placed some wide stands across so it was a bit hit and miss. I do much prefer being able to move between halls without having to go to the entrance ends like in the distant past.
Lack of finance houses of course and nice to see quite a few overseas visitors viewing boats
I'm looking forward to my return on Thursday pm now
