Lewmar wavegrip 44

Looking for replacement crown & jaw for this 1980s 2 speed winch, I have a pair. They seem to be difficult to find. Anyone know where I might be able to get some?

These are really great, and a huge improvement on the old wavegrip ones. One of the best upgrades I’ve done on my boat.

Hi - if it’s the Lewmar 43ST crowns you’re looking for I spent 2 years trying to track them down - none available. Tony of winchspares.com will modify the top of the winch drum to accept a new Lewmar Ocean crown. Very satisfied with the results - and a fraction of the cost of winch replacement - the hole centres of new Lewmar Ocean do not exact match up the old wave spring winches so that’s good to avoid .

We actually have model 44ST, from the early 80s. I'll check with winchspares.com as well. Hopefully we can get replacement jaws so the genoa sheets don't slip without having to spend loads of money!
