See my posts on scuttlebutt. My fingernails have gone, and I urgently need some Mogadon. After their last 4 matches, there was always the possibility that Wales would finally come good, and what an excellent match it was, particularly the first half, and that extended play at about 72 minutes in the second half.
felt a bit U23ish ready for 2007 - tho with wales looking a lot less wooden and er spoonish than of the last couple of decades. Well, three decades really...
Yes , unfair on the young centre. Playing him is the kind of daft thing that Wales usually do. Henson was nearly wrecked as a teenager being picked for Wales.
Yes, heroic performance by your lot. Robbed I would say. Foot never in touch etc. Must be difficult for you living in France
Still never mind. Better luck against Italy
I was there the atmosphere was electric, pity the English supporters around us weren't able to be nice about the win. We all sang the English national anthem and the English supporters booed when we were singing the Welsh anthem. Seemed to be more football like supporters there this year, very agressive, I suspect that many of them were on corporate jollies and weren't proper rugby supporters.
Anyway the English will forget about it by the end of the season and the Welsh will remember it for the next six. Can't be a bad thing to let us enjoy a victory now and the. I had to laugh when I watch the BBC last night though, they said that Wales trailed England and scored in the final minutes to win, which match were they watching, by my reconing England were only in front for 6 minutes.
Got to find a packet of resolve /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Yes, I thought the booing was a bit off, but it also happened when kickers were having a go at goal. Didn't used to get this until very recently, especially not in Cardiff. Last time I went to The Tigers this happened and they made an announcement saying that that sort of behaviour was not acceptable at Welford Road - rather nice I thought.
It's good being a Welsh, Leicester supporter at the moment - hope it lasts.
Hehem!!! No excuses guyz hehe, but i can agree that the booing was out of order though but what do you expect when the Welsh were so desperate to win! ;-)
What a weekend! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
