Does anyone have any user or technical handbook handbook for a Leroy Somer Anchor Windlass dating from 2003?

Mine has a number G14965 written on the side and although it works, electrically, i cannot turn it manually so if the electrics fail, I am stuffed.

Help please.

I have one too but sorry, no handbook. Yes, there is no manual operation but that is quite usual for electric windlasses. The only controlls are the up and down buttons and the friction clutch so don't think a handbook will tell you much.

Sounds like a very poor design if it can't be operated by hand. My present electric windlass, and my previous hydraulic windlass certainly can be wound, albeit slowly, by hand.
