I sailed one years ago on a coastal passage. Very high topsides for its size, she'll never win a race, windward performance poor , very comfortably appointed down below.

Unless it's called a Leisure 27SL, which is a completely different boat. (Otherwise known as a Mirage 2700). Can tell you about those if it is one.

Cheers but its definately the leisure 27. We,ve been looking at a few 27 footers around the 14 grand mark. We have three kids and a Virgo Voyager. Nice little boat but we need just that bit more room. Quite like the look of the leisure.
Cheers

Excellent yacht for size, plenty of space below, 5 berths, but maybe a little dated in interior looks. As mentioned abit slow, untill a good wind gets up, ours was a very dry boat proberly due to high topsides. Ours was a fin keel option(most are B/K), that had extra ft added to keel by previous owner who had brought yacht new and sailed to and back from the Caribbean. Only problem we incountered was to have the chainplates inlarged and stiffened which had previosly caused gelcoat crazing around them. Also rudder had created a leak. Fixed by cutting apart and reglassing together and refilling with foam. Also check if fitted last time saildrive leg seal was replaced, this can be expensive to replace unless doing it yourself. Would defnately consider one again. Hope this is of help
