Leaving sanded surface for 2-3 months without painting

Hi,
I have some medium paint job. I won't start painting before April I suppose, but now is good time for some sanding. My question is - is it ok to leave sanded paint, or partially GRP for like 3 months? I will obviously give surface a good clean and some light sanding before painting when the weather come.

I can't see why it would be a problem so long as it is given a good wash and wipe over with a degreaser (acetone? depending on the sort of paint). Maybe a light sand first in case there is some sort of oxidisation layer.

Exposing bare fibreglass (or rather the resin that is bonding it) to UV rays will degrade it. Best to keep it covered until you are ready to paint. Other than that, happy sanding.
