Laundry in Fiscardo?

Lots of sheets to wash, anyone know any way to get them done here? There's no actual laundry, I'm told by a local.

The nearest one I know is in Sami, walk inland one street from where the yachts moor, turn right, it is in that small row of shops, walk a bit more inland and you will see the post office, there is also a mini yacht chandlers nearby.
I don't think its self service, but a friend had all his sheets and shirts washed and ironed, he was pleased at the result.

I always pop across to Messologgi and use the extremely efficient machines in the marina there.
There are laundries in Argostoli and Sami - but you might find their prices for many sheets a trifle expensive.

Thanks all. I read the other thread too, and the answer is quite clearly "nothing doing" in Fiscardo itself. With so many boats it's a surprise but I understand water is the problem.

According to local gossip, it's because every time some one suggests opening one, everyone else objects. So no laundry.

+1 for the Sami laundry. No self service, but very helpful staff and they do understand that time is (sometimes) important.

Sami laundry charged us €7 for a very large load of washing, just the wash although drying is available as an option. Took it in at 0945 ish and it was waiting for us as promised at midday.

We stayed there a week while we did a dive course. The dive centre had a washing machine and were kind enough to let us use it (as well as their showers). Not good for everyone but if you're into diving it might work for you.
