Launching dinghy in Poole

Is there anywhere one could launch (safely) a small dinghy + kayak in Poole harbour, to go for a day out sailing and paddling?

there is a place at the bottom of Lake Road, or Rockley Park. Redcliffe is up the River Frome but you may find slipway closed for Winter, further down river is Ridge Wharf

Shell bay marine at the end of ferry road in Studland? Although may not be open for the season yet.

Rockley is possible, but the tide can run really hard at springs. Good alternative is off the beach at Lake Pier. Good car park but you have to carry your boat to the beach. Very popular with kayakers and many of the folks with swinging moorings launch their dinghies from there. Lots of open water, but a bit of a slog to the islands or up to the Frome.

Yes Lake Pier , free carpark, toilets and the kayak club. Just watch the tide it can be fairly brisk
