Hi i have a Princess 32 and last month while crusing on the Crouch my oil light came on in just a few seconds the port engine seize up all over .I have twin Volvo adQ21 diesels.All the oil was in the builge under the engine.On removing the engine i can not find whear the oil has leaked from, the oil cooler is dry no hole in the sump rear maine dry .Wear has the oil come from .I done engine cheques before leaving we had only run for about twenty mins .For a compleat sump full of oil to empty you would think the cause would easy to see. Any one have an clue to what may have hapend.Any way i now have a one engined Princess after many phone calls with inderfrient people on the end of the phone i rang Lancing Marine right from the start Martin was intrested in helping me found a used engine at a very good price gave me lots of advice on what to change over ,found some engine mounts gave me advice on how to rewire the heater plugs as mine were difrent. That company is a ray of light helpfull do what they say they will do,always ready to help .I did not think there was any companys like that left . Thank you Lancing Marine

Is the oil pressure switch intact? I have heard of the centre part blowing out, illuminating the light. Then, as the pressure switch is immediately after the oil pump the entire sump of oil is efficiently pumped out into the bilge.

Ah, I wondered why Martyn was a little slow getting back to me this morning!
I've always had faultless service from them, they're very helpful and will bend over backwards to help if they can.
They even stripped one of their own water pumps for me and sent me a cam (it's a rare, discontinued pump) to get me back in the wet stuff when the main stockists were on a Month back order.
That arrived the very next day, as has every order I've ever made with them, bar one.

Crankcase pressure blew oil out of breather/drain pipe? Oil cooler failed internally? seen both of these happen!
