Re: sorry

No offence intended.

I didn't read too carefully. Think it was your phrase of "being old enuf" and "well considered move" which of course has no place at all in the deliberations of barryD who's gorn and bort a cadillac <BG>

Hope this hasn't trashed our chances of geting web space for pics of soaked coliholic etc? Altho I spect you already have loads of similar shots of him emerging from various N European marinas/waters already...

Re: £5 witness speaks

Cheers TCM - all valid points. Taken on board and to be considered - after all what is the point of asking <G> if you intend to ignore the response! R310 not the only runner just the nicest and most cose effective overall. Happy with my reasons overall as they stand - Flybridge etc... (allthough I could still be convinced <G>) and petrol/diesel/LPG has been so soundly thrashed out that any arguments are pretty pointless.

Having said that - ALL please keep pithcing in with thoughts and rationale.

Cheers,

Barry D.

Re: sorry

Unfortunately I don't have one of coliholic falling off, but I did see it. He had decided to try and rip across behind the stern of the boat so fast that we all got drenched, but we were all up on the deck, so his cunning plan was to circle the boat and do it again when we'd all come back down to the swim platform. He turned, probably not across his own wake, but heading into bit of wind, and accelerated, and took hands off the wheel , and oops. I could almost see him saying o no to himnself, and thinking of the BB publicity. This maintains C's record of falling in almost every weekend that I have seen him near water.

Having seen yummy little Bradley conquer the steps to the flybridge on Saturday night, you can't use him as an excuse anymore. And as I said on Saturday, how comes Brad looks so much like you and yet is so adorable ;-)

Yummy Bradley

Hi,

You couldn't see a thing on Saturday night by the time we went up to your flybridge! Big difference in 15 tonnes tied to the finger and him doing it in a lighter boat or at sea / anchor. But I take your point he did seem to be pretty nimble <G>.

As for the other comment - that would be Heidis personality and eyes then as opposed to me at a guess. <BG> Shuffles back to box.

Cheers,

IMHO, FWIW & NWGOI

Flybridges and Bradley

Re f/b and Brad, it depends on the f/b, imho. Not all f/bs are the same. First, you would be better with steps than a ladder, obviously. Second, the older type that were a tiny platform with a couple of seats and no other floor area would be dodgy, because so small. But the modern ones that extend right back, cantilevered over the aft cockpit below, with a gas strut closeable hatch door over the hole where the steps are, should be ok because you couldn't lose him and he would have loadsaspace and sofas etc to run around on - you wd only need to supervise when he went up/down the steps. All imho
