Stop teasing, Yeti, we want to see the whole boat! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Varnish looks lovely though.

still in the throes of finishing the outside.... now that the weather looks like it's on the up.

more pics tommorrow (took my camera today... taking some batteries for it tommorrow....DOH!)

she's due back in sometime towards the end of march, so a launch party (with a capital "par") is on the cards.

can't wait to get the damn thing finished, it's been far too long without a boat.

hope to catch up with your project news soon.

take care.

steve.

well David old chap, the simple answer is, when it's done.

don't worry... you're invited to the launch party.

i just hope that i can work out the depth of water at the quay

Wow,

A brilliant Job. Is that Teak or Mahoganny? Also is it Marine ply with solid wood surrounds.

Looks stunning

Well done, Pat on the back /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Cheers

cheers, that means a lot!..

it's all mahogany.... fashioned by my own fair hand (and some B&Q tools!)

the frames are cut from mahogany and glued. i had to make the frames as the windows are 18mm sealed units with bronzed glass to keep the glare down (not nearly origional but worth the effort)

the paneling is all TG&V, epoxied onto marine ply (the bulkheads were replaced in the summer)

there's still a bit of work to do on the helm, as it's only in mock up at the moment, but once iv'e finished in the cabin the pics will flow.

thanks for your comments.

steve.
