This one seems to be getting ever more populated with Solent / South Coast yotties moaning about marina prices, and France based ex Solent yotties crowing about how much cheaper it is over there.

Couldnt we have a new "South Coast Marina Forum" devoted to marina prices, the iniquities of MD and the possibility of mooring in Calais for 2 Euros a week with pastis thrown in. There they can all go and moan and crow at each other? They do seem to want to keep scratching at the wound, a bit like my kids when they had chicken pox. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

<hr width=100% size=1>this post is a personal opinion, and you should not base your actions on it.

Unless your trying to dangle a carrot for backbiters, why read or reply to the wind up threads in the first place. Anyway I feel its either two things why people moan about prices, either they have purchased a boat they can't afford Or they are just plain tight. So Humbug to Christmas!/forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I think we need a new forum for people to suggest new forums.

Me, me me!!!!!
I have bought a boat I can't afford, and I am tight too. I also support Christmas humbug.
I have a mooring for three and fourpence a week on the mud, and I only have water for an hour at HWS, but hey! its cheaper than a million quid on the Costa Riviera Hamble.
And today I am going to count the pennies in my jar whilst sipping on some lovely potato wine.
I think we need a forum on practical tips for using up old washing up bottles and similar. It'll have to be soon, as the shed is full of the damned things. Maybe that could extend to South Coast Marina skip raiding techniques too!

I want a forum just for cats and dogs - then we could have really good cat and dog fights :-)

Well I learnt something new today, as had to look campanology up - didn't mean what I feared though.
