It looks like the weather may be OK next weekend for taking the Astinor around the south west coast from Kilrush to Cork.
I'll know more definitely by Wednesday, so, anyone who's interested in the trip can contact me. The plan is to go Saturday evening/night (for ISA Yachtmaster night miles.) and aim for Union Hall, Sherkin Island or Crookhaven. (Preferably Union Hall.) Catch the Grand Prix ashore and head for East Ferry, Sunday afternoon or night.
Booze is being banned on board this year because of the outrageous peeing competition from the flybridge on last year's trip. (And in which the women excelled themselves! )
(I might relent nearer the date.)
