Don't know if you were there at the time, but on the way back from your second photie, we were flashmobbed in Canna by the Classic Ms on their way to the above. Over 20 boats in Canna that night, only 5 (or maybe 6) held their ground in the SE7/8. We were hit once by two boats locked together like Siamese twins. And another boat lifted our second anchor.
It was actually quite funny at times. One boat had the skipper doing his transits with sighting compass. What was unusual was that they were passing us at about 4 kts and hadn't noticed. I'm told that in previous years there have been more than 40 boats in there at once.
I wasn't. The picture was taken mid August. My brother was in Canna at the same time as the CMs. He also said it was interesting. He cleared out as quickly as the weather would allow.
Quite funny he was on the west coast for last 3 weeks july/1st week august and had pretty dreadful weather.
We were up for last week july/1st 2 weeks august and you can see that the weather was pretty good.
This is all becoming a bit uncanna, or maybe it's just a small world. We were in Canna 19-21 July, then later 11-13 Aug. We'll need to be careful about the prizes for these comps!
