I have a Beneteau First 24 swing keel. Last summer she sprang a leak. We determined that the only area not covered the previous winter was the keel bolts and are certain that the water ingress was via the keel. Does anyone have any suggestions or information on the keel bolt attachments for these boats. I have loosened a couple and hoped that they were studded in some way into the keel. However they simply turn but do not extract. I am now in a situation which means that I must potentially drop the keel. Any help suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
