That's a slippery boat, he must have everything up. Anything less than 10 knots of wind and my old Gaffer used to flop around and try to destroy the gaff..

I guess that once you get the momentum of 20 tons going it takes very little to keep it going.

the winds have gone very light..." light airs or no airs but pleasant afternoon. Potatoes are going bad, so going to be slow"...

His current location is 24.22N 61.53W heading 53.29 degrees since yesterday.

Actually he has only travelled 31.87 nautical miles over the last 24 hours.

Philip....doing good... update as of 12:22 Eastern today ..." breeze 8 knots east so making course North at 5 knots & happy at that. 27.47 E & 62.39W woop Philip."
He made about 110 miles over the last 24 hours heading North

The forward hatch (anchor and chain locker) has been siliconed (all edges) shut for the voyage.

Virtually a buoyancy chamber.
