Kamd44 edc start problem

Hi,

I’ve got 2 kamd44 and cannot get the SB to start.

- On pushing active station, diagnosis light occasionally flashes once and neutral / active station lights don’t light up as usual.
- Most of the time the diagnosis light doesn’t flash either when pressing active station.
- This happens on both stations in the boat symmetrically.
- When pressing diagnosis for error codes, I get 1.1

Any help would be appreciated ?

1.1 means no errors

I had a similar issue couldn’t get neutral light or active station red light turned out to be a loose wire in the multi plug

Thanks! Is the multiplug the connector on top of the engine and going to the black box with press-in fuses?

No it’s was the one behind the control panel, but worth checking the one going to black box can get corroded

Has anyone pressed the emergency stop button on the top of the engine.

Is it definitely in neutral?

Yep, definately on neutral and the behaviour of the engine is different from port when it’s on gear.

Do you have a fire system installed ?
remove the stop solenoid wire and try and start it .
