KAD44P-B EDC+DP-E fault 3.4 actuator fault?

And yeah. There propably was something wrong with gear actuator too. I did change all 4 micro switches(Cherry DB2 2,60€ a piece)

And my mech cleaned errors from edc before i discovered this faulty edc main switch

Some previous owner has made an extra main switch just for edc electric suply. I guess for preventing lightning damages?? Edc units are easily damaged by lightnings or thats what i’ve heard

Do you have a dedicated EDC battery and master switch? I have 4 batteries, 2x Dom, 1x start, 1x EDC all with separate battery master switches, I assumed this is the normal arrangement for an EDC equiped boat?

No i only have start and accessory batteries. EDC is ”fed” from start battery via it’s own main switch

The separate edc supply is normal as it gives better power to the ecu on cranking , I don’t have time to read all of this , is the fuse for shift actuator ok near starter motor as I’ve seen this supply taken from the two terminals bolted to sump bolts in front of starter ? Check the terminals and the fuse , the correct position for the actuator supply is the starter terminals .

all fuses and terminals were ok. In my boat there is main switch just for ECU/EDC unit that needs to be switched on before starting engine.

I of course did never bother to turn it off to begin with, so it was always on and badly corroded… That created enough resistance to create all those weird symptoms to actuator.

I cleaned said switch and everything is working just fine now👌
