Just pictures

Very nice. Takes me back to 1978 when we had our first overseas cruise which took us to Honfleur in company with our new friends with a Sadler.

Two boats winding down in Ramsgate after our safe return. Yes, I know the radar reflector isn't ideal, and the less said about the dinghy the better.

And our son, showing less exhilaration than yours, but doing his duty as senior crew member. He had been diabetic since the previous year.

Nothing wrong with that dinghy.Just teach the kids how to tidy it up a bit like you did in the 70s. That is how one stowed an Avon on a small yacht. Deflate the bow section & seat. Roll it up, nice & tight. Leave the aft inflated over the hatch garage. Push it fairly tight to the mast. The kicking strap swings side to side in the hollow between the 2 sides of the inflated rear half so you could still use it. Tie it down across the handrails.Oars along the side with a couple of ties to the handrails. No outboard bracket, as the outboard would be too heavy & no room any way.
:D
