natural, low cost recyclingMore junk left lying about.
Is someone going to be tasked to moving it? Or do we have to watch it rot for the next 50 years as an eyesore

I think there's something melancholically attractive about old wooden boats slowly returning to the soil.More junk left lying about.

So is it any different to an old mattress in someone's front garden, or an old fridge slowly rusting away? Because in the same way that boats are tied to the rivers, fridges & mattresses are part of the houses from where they are discarded.I think there's something melancholically attractive about old wooden boats slowly returning to the soil.
Yes, it's completely different. So is it any different to an old mattress in someone's front garden, or an old fridge slowly rusting away? Because in the same way that boats are tied to the rivers, fridges & mattresses are part of the houses from where they are discarded.
There cannot be anything much more melancholy than a street full of gardens full of old bangers, Tvs, freezers & bedsteads. Just a modern land lubbers version of Pin Mill really.
.
Assuming melancholy is what turns you on, of course
What is honest about dumping a boat in a public place as an eyesore for the world to see whether they want to or not.Yes, it's completely different.
I can't explain why it's attractive. Perhaps there's a certain honesty about it, the circle of life.
I think is quite valid…..unless it just turns into somebody jus trying to cause an argument10 posts without a picture. Perhaps this discussion should be on the main forum.
They only make houses smell if the owner doesn't train them and keep their litter box clean. Both my daughters have kept cats (one still does) and their homes don't smell!Cats make a house smell, so what they do to a boat is anybodies guess.
Dunno whatCats make a house smell, so what they do to a boat is anybodies guess.
I disagree with that statement, cats are super clean.Cats make a house smell, so what they do to a boat is anybodies guess.
In my working life I have been in something like 15000 & 18000 houses. One could always tell if they had cats. The owners get so used to it they they do not realise that there is a smell. Some really stink of cat food, litter trays etc. They wipe their faces on corners of the walls - after a while dirty marks appear where they do it. It all adds up.Dunno what

More to do with the owners than the animalIn my working life I have been in something like 15000 & 18000 houses. One could always tell if they had cats. My wife has had 3 cats & they have been great pets to her. But whilst I was sad to see the last one go, I was glad to have no more cat hairs to constantly pick up & have a house that smelled fresh again..
Maybe you wouldn’t be such a grump if you had a pussy to play with?In my working life I have been in something like 15000 & 18000 houses. One could always tell if they had cats.
