It really bugs me that it’s tasteless AND expensive. It’s just pandering to excessive aspirations and encouraging young people to think that money grows on trees.
Added to which, it’s designed to sail but probably never will. Which is gigantically annoying.
My daughter has a friend who, some years ago thought that sailing involved wearing floaty clothes while standing on the prow of a boat, sipping champagne.
One trip on a Sadler 32 in the North Sea was sufficient to change her views

When you're boating on that sort of budget, maintenance is something that happens to other people.

I'd guess that the vast majority of boats like that would have a professional skipper and a chef. If it's hands-on sailing you want, you buy a Spirit
I would imagine most Spirit owners, although hands on sailing, will still likely be hands off for maintenance.
