I’m not grumpy, or old, or at least, not compared to the majority here. I do have a ‘slightly’ ageing 30ft boat. That one is too narrow for me, I don’t like it.Well it's clear that the target sales group isn't grumpy old men with ageing 30 foot yachts...

Wansy, get the boat…friends will comeI don’t have enough friendsti fill even half those settees…….can you hire beautiful people by5he hour?
She does happen to have a commercial skipper's licence...What an irritating woman, less than no idea
And then disappear when it's maintenance timeWansy, get the boat…friends will come
A boater’s life is not a merry one....And then disappear when it's maintenance time
She does happen to have a commercial skipper's licence...
And make strange decisions when voting…..Is this what happens when we age ?….we get upset when we see an attractive young woman
When you're boating on that sort of budget, maintenance is something that happens to other people. And then disappear when it's maintenance time
I meant boating in general. When you're boating on that sort of budget, maintenance is something that happens to other people.
I'd guess that the vast majority of boats like that would have a professional skipper and a chef. If it's hands-on sailing you want, you buy a Spirit
I would imagine most Spirit owners, although hands on sailing, will still likely be hands off for maintenance. When you're boating on that sort of budget, maintenance is something that happens to other people.

Well of course it is. You just pay someone...Quote of the day at 02:00 "It is absolutely like maintenance free...."

Spirit Yachts are well aware of their target market. Those with signs of having carried out yacht maintenance are not welcome as owners, in my experience.I would imagine most Spirit owners, although hands on sailing, will still likely be hands off for maintenance.
