Joys of 'own pontoons' ....

760sqm of bricks! Are you laying them all yourself as well? If so then you must be a glutton for punishment!😂
I have just lost nearly a year of my retired life to a house renovation (hopefully our final ever) which towards the end had me crawling up the walls wanting to get off cruising again!
Just back from 4 weeks off cruising and playing at more modifications to our yacht which I find is much more satisfying than paving and painting!
I did however water blast strip and then reoil our timber jetty last week. Seen here now glowing orange in the early morning sunlight yesterday.🙂

Our recent brick paving whilst substantial is about 10x smaller!

Me lay 760 sq.m ??? No way !!

Today was with clinic where they are considering whether they operate on my spine again. When they 'glued' my snapped #2 vertebrae - its pressing on the 'cord' ... over last 2yrs - the ache has increased and I'm due MRI's to check and see whether they need fuse the #2 and #3 to remove the 'glue' and relieve the pressure.

I just got that impression from the talk of the tonnage of bricks being moved.
Are they being laid at your place?
Our paved and tiled outdoor area is about 100sqm and was pretty hard work along with the retaining wall taking a couple of weeks to construct.
Still waiting for the extra pontoon parts to arrive here and keen for another attempt at getting my yacht up out of the water on it!

It will be shame if this is its maximum use if I fail to get the yacht up on top again!
