Hi all,
I'm joning two lengths of 10mm chain that have a 30mm pitch (ISO). The Crosby G335 c-links have a pitch of 28.7mm. I've seen a thread here advising to take care to match the chain pitch with that of the c-link.
Since the 10mm c-links here have a pitch of 28.7mm - neither ISO (30mm) or DIN (28mm) can I assume a single c-link somewhere between will run just fine over the gypsy?
Thanks,
Steve

It will be fine. Bear in mind, Crosby 'missing links' need properly heavy hammering to close the built-in rivets, think blacksmith's anvil, not your chart table ;)

Most windlass gypsies seem very accommodating of one link that is not exactly the right size but will not take a chain in which every link is wrong. I found I had a C-link that was nothing like the right size, almost 1.5 times the length of the chain links, but the gypsy never noticed it.
