Jib Reefing system

There is someone on ebay who advertises a very simple and reasonably priced furling system. From memory it's called Alado - just found it on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALADO-Rol...880291?hash=item2cbc219c23:g:vLYAAOSw4f5YCOpE
A friend of ours has a similar system on his boat in Scotland but not sure if it's Alado, and certainly works fine.
Also google Alado - lots of info available.

Are these available for sale in the UK (The link goes to a US site)?

Have bought 'cheap' in the US in the past and it turns out expensive after the product, plus shipping & handling, plus import tax, plus VAT and plus the charge to collect the taxes have been added. A simple hasp & staple for my companionway cost over £55 from Catalina Direct once all the charges were added.

That's what I thought too. There was a similar principle (sheave at top of profile) used on an Italian system; not sure if it was Bamar.

Something wrong here
The spinnaker halyard should not come out a metre below the forestay. That would possibly be the pole topping lift. The spinnaker halyard has to come out above the forestay.

My spinnaker halyard exits the mast maybe a metre below the forestay attachment point (masthead) BUT it is offset from the centreline and continues up to a swivel block attached to a masthead crane. Perhaps this is what mojito has (or should have)?
