Ooooh......a plan in the making?![]()
Fwiw, at 24m I agree, even on a P boat. Up to 20 or so, I'd rather have a gyro - particularly on 30+ knots vessels. But - I suppose - If it were a new boat stabs would be included in the spec - probably fins not gyros.
Mapism I know that you are such an EN perfectionist that you won't mind me mentioning this: it's whetted not wetted.. To whet means to sharpen, though in modern EN it exists only in the phrase "whet your appetite". I can't imagine saying I'd whet anything else
Ummm. Can't recognize this context. However, have sent the odd apprentice to the stores for a long weight (wait) or a long stand.I'm probably completely wrong on this but isn't the same word (whet or wet?) used to describe a sort of 'running-in' period of a, say, apprentice or a trainee. As in teaching someone both the official and unofficial ways of getting things done.
Even though textures seem to be back, I don't like the cushions on the first pic either, btw.
'Course I don't mind, thanks for the hint! :encouragement:Mapism I know that you are such an EN perfectionist that you won't mind me mentioning this: it's whetted not wetted..
