Jet ski/wave runner weight

300-350kgs is probably about right. You could of course Google the model you want. As for the stern it would depend on the strength of the davits.

Tried googling but don't know much about them - I refer to them all as jetskis but apparently that's a trade mark name.

Wouldn't put it on Davits, would be on the swim platform or possibly the back of the FB (weight would suggest swim platform)

What is the weight of a small jetski/wave runner type machine.

Too heavy to hang off the stern of a 45ft motorboat?

I've had most of the Seadoo models since 1995 and from memory the 2 strokes were about 275 kg and the 4 strokes were about 350 kg, I would expect other models to be similar weights

The make and model of your boat may help us give you an answer. If there still in production I would contact them and ask.

As has been said a 4 stroke machine will be too heavy, particularly to get it lifted out. I had a Polaris SLH on the back of our Phantom 42 replaced with a Seadoo 3D.

I was chatting to the dealer who is servicing the 3D for me to recommission it now we have a passerelle again and they muted of a possible solution being launched at the Southampton boat show.

Henry :)

The lightest PWC's are the stand up Jet Ski's, and I think 2 stroke versions weigh as little as 140 kgs, but i'm not sure if you can buy them here. Sit down PWC's are much heavier, 250 kgs+ even for 2 stroke. Avon 2 stroke jet rib was 210 kgs.
