JET BOAT ON BOAT RENOVATION TV SERIES

stop shouting!

What is really sad is if it is true and this is a user connected to the program is the method. Come out and say, Hi I have been part of the company making the program boatyard and would like to remind anyone interest...... etc

In fact, it would be interesting to be able to chat to any of the production team about the program, I would like to know if they are boat people or diy, or just business men trying for a niche market.

But as it is we have a spammer who does not have the decency to disclose his interest, that makes it suspicious and therefore unwanted.

So, nemo, please introduce yourself, deny your connections and that will be fine too, I will apologise, or carry on how you are and I will report your posts to the moderator for deletion every Monday when you start spamming these boards.

What is it to be?

Re: stop shouting!

Soz, I'm not the person you think I am... just know about the series as I know someone who was featured in it - (although i haven't seen him yet and am beginning to wonder that he's stiched me up by telling me he's in it). He's not one of the main doer uppers, but apparrently helps out - the boat is a clinker built boat - I only know this because he's told me....sorry to disappoint..anyway you can get all the info on sky plus if you have it......just passing on info thought you guys might like.....happy to stop if you want, but quite enjoying the banter.....

Re: stop shouting!

no, thank you for answering and put me straight. As promised I apologise for calling you a spammer and it is handy for the occasional reminders for things like this.

It is normal on the forum, for people who send messages regarding services and or the latest bargain to add a disclaimer that they are not connected.

There are 4 programs left aren't there, the final two are one of the forums members called Forbsie, which promises a lot of feedback on here.

Does that include your insurance advice.. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: stop shouting!

although i am generally interested in the great tv and sailing debate... maybe i should post something in the lounge, there seems to be nothing on telly re; boats that works, although i have enjoyed this series... and it's weird because on the one hand you get people complaining that it's not mainstream enough and then when a populist version like this latest outing is aired everyone reverts back to wanting boring old open university.....

I'm on next wednesday and FINDINGNEMO's mate should be the last pair of episodes on the 21st.

The one thing that has really affected me is when I watch any other 'reality' programme, I now know why it's so hammy. The producer/cameraman keeps engineering these situations, trying to get me to be all panic-ridden when something goes wrong. I'm a bit too laid back for all that nonsense. 5h1t happens!

p.s. While admitting to being involved in the making of this programme, I do not benefit financially from you lot watching it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

finacial benefit

i recognise that there's no benfit if thirty people or thirty million watch the program. Dare i ask if they pay you at all? I mean, obviously, they must have stood you an evening in the bar otherwise you wouldn't have spoken to them but apart apapt from that £300 or so - do you get a fee? You can avoid this question if you like cos it's a bit rude, really. The reason i ask is that if there was any fee at all the bloke with essex girl must have been quids in having only spent £50 on the project...

Will this do?

Re: finacial benefit

Yes, you get a token sum, £500, for finishing on time so Essex Girl is definitely in profit.

The Sharpie, sadly, wasn't so fortunate. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: finacial benefit

Ok.

I spose it wd have been a bit more reaslistic for them to tell the viewers that, praps. I mean, then we could have had people arguing the toss with cunliffe about the £500. That would have been a larf!

Re: stop shouting!
