Jeanneau Sunfast 39

In that case I have no direct experience.

If it is true to the Jenneau formula of just putting a deep keel and tall rig on a cruising hull and calling it a race boat though.... It'll be horrible to get going and broach happy downwind.

If it's light just make sure to get the great big arse out of the water, either by shifting a few things down below (legal if you leave them in place all day) or moving crew forward.

It will date back to the early 1990s and so likely to be more heavily built and with less of a GBFA than is fashionable today. Try calling the Jeanneau Solent dealer Nigel Colley (02380-455333) who has raced many of the SFs over the years.
