Iv had two 22s & my last boat was a 25' - it was superb, close winded, fast yet stable. Had it for 11 yrs & did 1000s of miles around the Irish Sea, often alone. One major strength was in the layup - properly cured, not rushed. The builder Eric Birch took great pride in this - there were no reported cases of osmosis.
A weakness perhaps could be the outer & inner shroud plates which we reinforced with stainless down to the hull.
Goahead, buy one definitely.
