Problem with one of our loos so thought I'd look on the above site .... looked great, just what I wanted ... even has button for 'exploded view' ... terrifying, its what I'm trying to avoid! However when I tried to see this view to identify likely culprit and part nos. to order from my friendly chandler I get GOBBLE-DE-GOOK and some advice to download Adobe software .... 1hr 36mins! I'll be quicker standing in line, explaining the problem and hope the spares are in stock! Why have a web site that cannot/will not talk to Windows[98 in my case]
Or have I missed a trick?

Wow!

Can't believe you (a) haven't already downloaded the free Adobe Acrobat reader and (b) you can't be bothered to do it. Acrobat is one of the finest free utilities you'll ever find on the internet. It allows people to present printed materials on-screen quickly and efficiently. It's quick. It's foolproof(ish). And it looks great. More and more websites are using Acrobat to provide internet users with complex charts and info which previously needed lots of paper (and big sacrifices of the woody variety). If you can't be bothered to download Acrobat for free, why not buy a copy of a computer mag such as "Computer Shopper", which usually have a free CD on the cover containing, amongst others, a free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

My first contribution so hope it's useful.
You need a program called Adobe (manufacturer) Acrobat and it's used a lot to distribute documents. Find a friend who has a recent(ish) CD off the front of a computer mag. They will probably have a version on there under e.g. Utilities. It's free anyway and is quite useful.

Re: Adobe

G’day David.
Have a look through some of the old CDs we all seem to accumulate, you might be lucky and find one that has a copy of adobe acrobat on it, this will load in a couple of minutes.

The jabsco site is in fact one of the most comprehensive on the web. If you still have a problem contact Cleghorn Waring on 01462 480380 who will send you parts list or alternatively go to a chandler and look at their Jabsco catalogue page 163 where the line drawing is or failing any of these look in a jabsco toilet box at a chandler where there is also a schematic.
