Evening all,
I have a Jabsco 2000 series manual toilet (29090) which I failed to get working a few years ago. I'm now having a second attempt and have purchased a pump assembly and a service kit. However, looking into the service kit packaging it seems all the parts are designed to go in the pump assembly (which I have just bought). Is this the case? Or are there parts which need replacing during a service which are NOT within the pump assembly? Basically I am trying to establish if I can fit the pump assembly and return the service kit or whether I need anything out of this as well.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

If you have bought the full replacement pump assembly I would use that. I’ve tried a couple of rebuilds and invariably they are not perfect first time round. The only part I can’t remember is if the base gasket for the pump assembly is included. Other than that it should be a a simple swap out. Have a look on the Jabsco site there is an exploded diagram
Jabsco 29090-3000 - Manual 'Twist n' Lock' toilet, compact bowl / Manual Toilets / Toilets / Marine Toilets / Marine / Xylem JabscoShop - Jabsco & Rule Pumps and more - from the experts
The base gasket is number 16.
