Yes, OK, I know this is a mobo forum but the dark side does have some appeal.

or is it just an excellent opportunity to see SWMBO in a bikini despite the inevitable glass of wine in her hand :)

Then I get back to Southampton and the weather is not too bad. I step on board my mobo and I acknowledge that yacht designers have still got a long way to go before they produce the accomodation that a mobo can offer. Especially if they want to satisfy SWMBO.

So, is it my age? Nah, I just love the sun, warm sea and the slow pace of life. No change there, then :)

Looks fabulous. We did the same last year - chartered from Athens and had a great time. Thing is mobo up for sale and we may well get a yacht despite he accommodation....!!

Fairline Targa 35.....been a great boat and we have done lots to upgrade/improve her.
What is your yacht?

The Snowgoose as seen above, first class condition, none has ever been known to either capsize or sink .Had a lot of pleasure but spend a great deal of time motoring (2l p.h. @ 7 knots) especially when single handed and am now in my eightieth year so wanting new experiences.

I'm sneaking of to Turkey next summer doing the raggy thing - I keep looking at Moody 45DS rag and stick boats and thinking - cheap to run......

Yeah, nothing ever breaks or wears out & most marinas like them so much that berths are free.

OK, Only teasing, I know you are talking about fuel costs. But everything is relative, few boats are actually cheap.
