I've finally got her!

Hmmm, thinking laterally here so bear with me a moment

Historically speaking, Dougie Three Bottles gave up and just changed his user name to D3B, Full Circle is often referred to as FC, Sixpence is frequently shortened to 6d. See where I'm going here ? :D
So now Neil has a boat already shortened to Felix of Hammroll, where the initials are actually

PoH

Would this make her skipper Tinkie Winkie, Tipsy or Lala ? :p

I put this question to the house

What did you say she was Neil? By the way like the self tacking staysail, suits my style of sailing.

She's an Explorer 45, designed by Stan Huntingford (of Slocum 45 fame), and built for the US Market, only 13 built, and I think this is the only one that ended up in Europe.. She's 18 tons, with a long keel and fitted out throughout with solid teak joinery.

Looking forward to the self tacking stay sail... I'm told that if you fly the Yankee on the furler, she's ridiculously easy to tack!

We're changing berth at Shotley, but not far, just the other side of the pontoon, where that Oyster, 'Silver Want' was berthed, so still close enough to share a beer David!

Maybe Mr Tinky Winky, sorry, Mr Twinkles, could answer that?
