Neil,
Very pleased for you, it's taken a while and I hope she lives up to your expectations.
Coincidentaly 10th September is when Solene sails off to Sweden to meet new owner Bjorn.

Chris.

Great Group.. did you know when they started, the four members - Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Faltskog - had the brilliant idea of creating a name for the group by combining their four initials into an acronym.

After five years LUAF had still failed to catch on, so they went back to the drawing-board and used their Christian names rather than their surnames. However, early attempts - they toured for four months as AABB - were to prove equally unsatisfactory.

As well Bjorn and Benny first achieved prominence in 1972, as leading characters in the number 1 hit The Smurf Song by Father Abraham. "I was walking along the main street in Amsterdam one day," recalls Father Abraham, "and I saw these two - how you say? - 'geezers' on the other side of the street, and I thought to myself: 'At last! I have found my Smurfs!'?" Bjorn and Benny acknowledge their debt. "Father Abraham taught us everything we know about music. He is the true fifth member of Abba," they say

Congratulations Neil

Am I right in thinking she is the same Pheonix of Hamble owned by Peter Edgson-Wright and berthed in Dover up to 2000 ish.

Always thought she looked good then.
