It\'s kick off time

Not withstanding previous comments of mine I am off to the box to watch the 6 nations get underway and will be rooting for the Scots.
With a young and inexperienced England taking on a Welsh team on the verge of finally realising their potential we're in for a great afternoon of rugby.

Swing low, sweet chariot.

Well Scotland playing much better than France at this stage in the match (38 minutes in), and that is showing in the score

If Wales play as well against England, I'll be well chuffed

Arrrgh!. Two questionable ref decisions (can't wait for after match analysis) and then Scotland throw it away at the last minute with a French try which should never have happened in a flurry of Scottish mistakes in the last 10 minutes!!!!

Good game, that. Though I fell asleep for part of it - Doh!! The Jocks wuz robbed.
Something I don't understand as I'm no expert. That final interception try - the Scottish kick bounced off a French player (in a FORWARDS direction) into the hands of another French player who scored. How come that's not a knock-on?

Because there's a specific law that says a charge down isn't a knock on!

Law 12 Definition and exception of a knock on.

Should have been out refereeing today - but too busy with other commitments...

Having said that I am amazed at what the professional player get away with - and its always easier to ref from in front of the tv!!!

Just finished watching the Wales England match. I've got no fingernails left, and nurse hasn't left my tranquilisers. Sheesh, what a match!

What can I say?

Thank you Scotland and Wales for a brilliant afternoon of rugby.

Scotland, you were robbed but what a joy to see you play with such pride and commitment. Now you just have to build on it.

Wales. Fantastic! Deserved to win and should have done it by a much bigger margin.

The Championship is wide open but if there is a favorite it has to be Ireland. I just hope the rest of the games are as gripping.

Brilliant.

What a fantastic afternoon of rugby!

France [mon team nombre deux] lucky chiens!

And Wales - wow! I usually detest arrogance, but Henson's is like a fighter jock's - he doesn't know how not to back his talent! Brilliant stuff.

I just hope tomorrow's game isn't as close!!

No fingernails likewise, but a few gallses of wine helped. At least I didn't put my Wales shirt on to be disappointed. Sh## better run, I've got to shave my legs before I go out tonight.

Now if I was female, I'd say "Think I'll go out tonight and see if I can pick up an English centre. And then I'll see how far I can go with him.....undcer my arm..."
