ITAMA 42 Man 700,s

42/48 I think share the same hull ( diff layout ) 4.16 M B but with Man 700hp

No layout is the same.
What is different is dash (carbon) and bit more spacious as in 50 (46), and rounded wind-screen. They still have the I love mid hatch in the middle of the wind screen.
The interiors where also offered in various wood panel choices on purchase when the Bulgari 2001 - 2005 took over management from Amati.
Same staff remained and even Amati was still in control. Those people today make XL Marine if you are seeing the boat Oven they should be able to show you one as they are Italian dealers.
Amati as standard used to offer only the white sprayed wood choice, and the rest as optional.

All went well yesterday with the sea trail so I,am buying it .Deposit paid . etc
1500 rpm is 26 knots - -1750 '30 --- 1850' 33 ---2150 38 -this was with props that were not clean ,so 3 knots more to come .
1800 rpm consuption was around 80L /hr /side ,but thats over 30, knot cruise .1500 dropped to below 40 L but that's 26 knts in this baby .
2000 L tankage -great
Sea state was 1-2 m ( thanks hurricane Gonzals )
So the RIDE -clue is no wipers -pause to compute that a moment
Veeeeeeery smoth at all pionts to the wind and all speeds ,does not need wipers as veeeeery dry .
Falling off a wave @ 38 knots feels like a stunt man falling on an airbag ,or a kid falling in bouncy castle
Also veeeeery quite -can have a normal conversation @ any rpm -( almost silent at tick over and start up ) in fact hear the water rushing by more than engines .
As with other MAN,s these 2876 LE 401's 13 L lumps have a bit of turbo whistle but only on acceleration say from 1500-1800
Weighs 17 tons dry and engine mid mounted and low with low shaft angle + no compromise deep v
Here,s how to deal with the fender / gard rail issue

Magnificent, not much words to say.
If all is okay Can you hop to Malta before going South of France :) I want a ride. I can do the fenders, drop the anchor and give a clean after.

Need more pics and when you're at it, take a few snaps of the bathing platform and a few details of it's supporting structure plz.
Quite like it as it's what I'm after for MiToS

no wake shot, unacceptable! :p

Congrats, looks lovely. When does she arrive in LaNap?
Week beginning 10 th Nov .If all the ducks continue to align ?
The Broker is arranging Del for a reasonable fee which works out less than me and mate flying to Naples bringing it home -I just have to pay the guy a flight home -so I,ve opted for that .Its got a life raft and an ERIB ,but the two wife's kinda poo poo,ed a "lads del trip "
New to me boat ,tight weather / time window 400 miles - if we had to we would but I don,t

We have agreed or more like the broker pointed out that price inc
Lift out + replcement of both risers to a newer total inox fabricated version .
Newer style air filters and some other minor things .

Such an amazing hull, you are very lucky and have a good taste! I am very fond of Italian boats as well.

Did you by chance shot a video of your sea trial in the waves? I would love to see how she behaves...
