I've been back in Scotland for 6 weeks now, and have counted 3 days without rain in Inverness, where I've been trying to varnish my wooden-varnished Folkboat. "Can't smile, won't smile" is my motto of the month.
He that goes to Scotland and is not bathed frequently in soft summer showers is a liar. ( or inside)

If you can't see the hills, it's raining.

1.02m draught it would suit you down to the ground and a brilliant dog house.
Or perhaps more reasonably : http://www.yachtsnet.co.uk/archives/lm-27/lm-27.htm
Only problem - perhaps the long keel isn't ideal for close tacking.
Nice boat but cannot easily take the ground.
How much is it?
I must admit it doesn't rain much here in Whitby compared to when I lived in Scotland!

It's the end of June and the schools are about to close for the summer holidays and you wonder why it's raining? July and the first two weeks in August are known for as the rainy season up here.
