does anyone know whether the anchoring restrictions that were threatened to be imposed there a couple of years ago are still in force?
Or even if they were ever enforced?

Don't know if they were in force last summer, but we anchored in La Corderie last summer, along with about 10 other boats. We also anchored in La Chambre a few days later with about 30 other boats. No problems on either occasion.
If I had a three day weekend that's where I'd be going now, but I can't leave until tomorrow afternoon, so it's Granville or Chausey instead and back on Sunday. enjoy the weekend.

I was there 10 days ago and there would appear to be no problem in either La Chambre or the Corderie. Boats everywhere but I have never seen it so empty.

Bob - I was about to ask the same question!
From the other replies -it looks like there is no change or everyone is ignoring the restrictions.

I was there 7 years ago and there was copious evidence of toilet use at low tide!!. Children swim nearby. If you use the basin just keep the heads locked up - please.
