Im looking for a particular type of boat, all the searches show only 2 available for sale within my budget. Am I allowed to name the type boat and ask fellow motor boaters to seek one out for me? I dont want to upset anyone.

Re: Yup !

Am looking around myself at the moment for bigger boat.Posters on this site have pointed to a couple of boats to look at which did not surface via my boaty press and internet search. Also information came to light on both the boats which would be very helpful during any possible purchase .Ask away. There is bound to be somebody on here who may live just around the corner from your proposed new pride and joy and is able to say maybbe that the thing has been up for sale for ages etc etc.
My present motorboat was known to a couple of posters here and came to light quite by chance despite being tucked away all lost and lonely in a yard full of posh expensive yachts.Previous owner thought he was never going to sell it with result that he was very flexible on selling price.

Asking for = OK; Selling = NO

Hi Cliff,

Asking for is fine, its what this forum is all about. Good luck and keep us all posted on what you decide to buy.
