I am curious. Yesterday afternoon and early evening hundreds of flags were put on the beach between the Pilot boats harbour and the old lighthouse. This morning they were all gone. What was that all about?
Not on this one, I have looked on Google. It maybe something to do with the Octopus trail, but Google does not tell us whatGoogle is your friend...

Thanks for that. I have read the web page, and I still don't understand what it is all about. It seems it is a company that makes flags, and has put them out in a pattern. Perhaps I am a miserable old sod, but I can't see the point, although I may think differently if I were there and saw them "live"Seems to help easily. Flag Installation | Kinetika

Not sure what it has to do with the environment. It looks like a commercial venture to advertise the hire of Kinetika's flagsIt's another demonstration, as if there weren't enough of them, to raise awareness about the environment. All funded by taxpayer money and the tax on the stupid.
Thanks for that. It could be fun, I would do some of the walks if I were in the UK and had my Covid 19 jab, but I am not sure many people will take part. There were only a handful of people (10 or 12) looking at flags in Harwich yesterday evening. One problem with the walks is getting back to the start, unless the organizers have organized transport

The whole event does not seem to have real objective. Maybe it is just an advertisement for hiring Kinetika's flags. Sorry if I sound cynical. I notice it is being funded by public money
It is just an arty thing, like the latest at Fountains' Abbey today.
Another "artist" supported by our ever-generous taxpayers!
Er, no actually.
Apparently commissioned by the National Trust, and therefore paid out of member subs and entry/tea/trinket sales.
