Helicopters eh? Well, I'm not letting my Daddy talk to you! He has a LWB (ex-Safari) LR chassis and running gear to which he was (is) talking about fitting a small helicopter motor. He was inspired by the machines he saw on Sky TV when they covered some of the tractor pulling events from Holland. He's even off to Holland this year to see some of the competitions for real. Lord help us!

I'm tempted to say 'Cheeky G..........' But I wont go there! An emoticon would have been nice at the end of your message. Unless you did in fact mean it as an insult, of course......? Oh b****r, here we go again /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Excuse me.....!!

Siobhan,
Hmmmmm. Smallish gas turbine in LR chassis, I like the sound of that, have a lot of experience with V12 RR meteor petrol tank engines and packards, they use a lot in tractor pulling! Especially in Holland, used to live there! Some of those "tractors" in Holland will really make your eyes water, they use alcohol in them, awful stuff to be around!

Re: Excuse me.....!!

I would have put a 'emoticon', if that means smily face, at the end but did not know how, but as you guessed it was meant as a joke.
