inventory!!

I hope you, and your new ship, have much fun, adventure, and quiet pleasure, together.
That’s really nice of you. Thanks the very best to you lot. Bit of a change from the south coast med to west coast of Scotland. Weather I dreadful.

Been there, had that, though fortunately the Broker was a little more sympathetic/helpful: Having inspected, made an offer, had it reluctantly accepted and paid a deposit we went with our Surveyor to give it a final check, only to find the best of the fenders, a couple of life jackets and lots of other stuff besides had been removed (as we later discovered, it'd been advertised/sold via ads on the yard's notice board) and an FX16 Fortress anchor had been swapped for a Brittany finger-breaker. The anchor swap was apparently to our 'benefit' as the previous owner deemed it 'better suited' to our intended sailing grounds (not that he'd actually been to the Caribbean of course) and the rest 'must've been pilfered' from the still locked lockers. We got the anchor returned and a very slight price reduction for those items which our record photos showed to have been there during the original viewing, but there had to have been a lot of other stuff besides, the rammed-full cockpit lockers which we'd originally opened were now more than half-empty.

Well almost perfect. Messaged broker and told him and his office. No response yet. Just for clarity am I just waiting for a bill of sale. Buyer has thanked me.

Congratulations Steve. What did you buy and have you have any photos to share.
Hi. Roger.
Thanks for that. Contessa 32. What I’ve always wanted. She’s lovely for me and I’ll never have to varnish again? west coast of Scotland so I’m going to follow your well prepped route back to lake Solent.

Got to head north first. Spent a month on Eigg. 30 years ago and that’s when I thought I’d like a boat with flappy things on. A few spots to visit like Dunvaggan and Mull and a few others then a good single hand back to the mill pond. Better Hotel tonight and very reasonable just outside Dunoon. Think my other half quite likes it now.

Best wishes.

Well, while you're here you could consider the Scottish Series based on the Loch Fyne Tarbert in May, Scottish CO32 Championship with the Round Mull Race in July, and, of course, West Highland Week in August based on Croabh, Oban and Tobermory. All can be sailed as full race, white sail or 2-handed as the fancy takes you and all have full social programmes.

Lots to do.
Many thanks
