1991 Broom 33 valued £72k insurance cost £453 with Y Insurance. Moved to them from Pants
Is this a recent cost?Just for sharings sake mine‘s £305 on a £40k boat.
The Y policy details are on their website.I think it would helpful if people explain what is included in the quote, e.g with Y there is extra cost for civil disturbance/terrorism, third party cover up from standard £3m to £5m and so on, these extra can add hundreds to the quote, and some insurers include it as standard.
I think you are missing my point, when people get a quote it can include extras, but not mentioned when posted on this forum. Personally well aware of Y policy and a few others, e.g. standard third party, Y £3m, GJW £5m (whether you need £5m is another question); to match it cost an extra £50, personal accident £15k (Y), £20k (GJW). I think you get my point. The Y policy details are on their website.
Legal expenses cover and third party cover is included.

Try craftinsure Paul they do online quotes and are competitive. I’ve used them for years. 3 claims and they’ve always been very good there too.Hi folks what’s the average cost these days to insure a 100k motor boat with a top speed of 30 knots ?
I have not owned a boat now for 4 years so I doubt any previous no claims will count , although I have an unblemished no claims status.
I agree
Its very important to understand all that .
eg with some legal cost cover is extra = included with Y
