Is it the time of year, weather turns not so nice, etc …...
Can’t get out on the boats so much; if at all! tempers start to go, Well how about expressing your self [in a Kim approved of way,] but insulting someone or something or telling of a phrase that you have heard used or said yourself.

My 12 year old daughter made her brother who is 3 years older and in his opinion street wise /forums/images/icons/smile.gif speechless with the following remark. She was told that looking the way she looked [ in his eyes] she would never get a boyfriend,

wait for it,

She said “ I am single though choice only”

Not bad for a 12 year old,

At this time of year, a high proportion of folks have put their boats into hibernation, so there is not always a lot of topical stuff to talk about. Powerskipper is only prompting debate. I would disagree that the post is "non boaty" as reference is made to the withdrawl effects many feel when not being able to get out on the water. Perhaps, as a relatively new user, a period of observation will indicate that there are quite a few "non boaty" topics posted here. Many of them far less relavant than this one! For example, the post regarding the music played on the Playstation 2 commercial and nothing wrong in asking that question either! IMHO of course.

As the saying goes - "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, than open it and have it confirmed! "

Now was the title of this post? /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
