Instrument Repair?

Does anyone know where I can get a new LCD fitted to this VDO Siemens wind instrument? It is one of a set of very good instruments, but the LCD screen that shows the wind speed has failed.

First you need to find the part, if I am right, Siemens is part of the Phillips group so should not be a problem. (Based upon me being able to get spares for friends HiFi equipment in the past, though I had to go through a dealer).

If you are not confident about fitting the screen, I would suggest buying the spare yourself and then finding some mug to fit it for you, just handing it over to a marine electronics bod might not be economical. It is a simple job to do for an average wire-man and does not necessarily require the full skills of an electronics bod.
