I got a very cheap one on eBay when working with a consultant endoscopist who recommended one that displayed to a PC if I had one one board. He said the quality was a lot better than the first ones he used and the key differences were that I couldn’t decontaminate my one and the LED lights would burn an actual patient. It’s been great for wiring and plumbing problems on the boat.

There is merit in having a self contained unit like the Lidl unit, I've one like it for several years. It's possible to manipulate the probe while keeping a close eye on the display, also easier to use in restricted locations and positions.
