Where can I get the injectors checked on my Volvo Penta 2003 TAMD22 p-b engine.

It might help if you tell us where you are as then someone can share local knowledge. Often The Yellow Pages and Google are fine and look for a local diesel injection specialist. Often it is only nececessary for the specialist to adjust the injectors and clean them . If necessary new nozzles will be fitted .

On re reading I assume you have a 2003 vintage tamd22 there is a 2003 model in the Volvo range which is totally different apart from the colour
The Tamd22 injectors can be checked in any competent diesel shop it is a cousin of a Perkins engine developed fo rover

If you are in this area: Colchester Fuel Injection are good. Diesel fuel injection specialist - Colchester Fuel Injection I did my Volvo 2030. Inspection free, all were hosing so £40 each for service.

Have tried locally around Exeter, Devon but because it is a Volvo Tamd22 have been unable to find anyone who can check them because of the age.

If you are in the Plymouth area try City Diesel. I had my yanmar injector,stripped, cleaned and tested for £60.
