Injectors - ever had yours checked / tested?

The question I would ask is.....

If you had a diesel engined classic car that was 15 years old, worth £90k with a £25k engine re-build cost, for the sake of a couple of hours labour, would you have the injectors checked?

Fair point, though a 15 year old "classic" is likely to have many miles on the clock. Our old Merc S Class (far from classic) is coming up for 13 years old and has 112,000 miles on the clock. Nowhere have I seen anything which suggest I should have the injectors overhauled, and it still runs like a dream.
