Does this stuff work?or do the injectors need to be removed and cleaned /reset?

I would also assume that given the average car tank is 60 or so litres and the average boat somewhere between 700 and 4000 litres you are probably best to use it on as close to an empty tank as possible or you will spend more on the cleaner than removing the injectors!
However one article at random says they dont work!

This seemed relatively scientific - but the car forums all have different views so I suspect you will get nothing different on here!
The pictures people post on here of injectors show frequent carbon deposits on the nozels. I can see that the inside of the injector MIGHT be cleaned, but not the outside of the nozel which is basically where the explosion happens and the cleaner will simply be ignited.
Even the inside - given the massive portion of diesel in the fuel compared to cleaner I would be sceptical that it could honestly have much impact. If there were a way of getting pure cleaning fluid to the injector without combustion it would become more plausible.
Just my view!
Remove water from the fuel, dissolving it sounds all wrong.
Yup it’s part of overall WIF hygiene .We are talking about microscopic amounts of water
